Arival has made the challenging and painful decision to cancel the Arival Phoenix 2020 in-person event. The Covid-19 conditions in Arizona, around the country, and globally, make it impossible to produce an Arival event that will live up to our standards and your expectations, and most importantly, secure everyone’s safety.
Announcing Arival 360 and the Virtual Masterclass Summit Series
We know your business is going through difficult times. We all are. It’s more important than ever to stay connected with our industry, keep informed on what’s ahead, and be prepared for the rebound. So Arival is launching Arival 360, a virtual conference in lieu of Arival Phoenix, along with the Virtual Masterclass Summit Series, which will continue through 2021. Arival 360 and the Virtual Masterclass Summit Series will provide you with the essential insights and ongoing professional training and networking you need to help you through 2021 and beyond.
Not just another virtual event
Arival 360 will take place during 5 days between Monday, October 26, and November 5. This is not just another webinar, nor is it just a copy and paste from the in-person conference. We are rethinking the virtual experience from the ground up, to make Arival 360 more actionable and accessible in an online format.
Arival 360 will launch on Monday, October 26 with “The Way Forward,” an industry event devoted to the biggest themes defining the future of tours, activities, and attractions. Each subsequent day will feature a deep dive on a specific topic, including digital marketing and OTAs, tour operations, and serving local and domestic markets. The Arival Event App provides real-time networking and business development with integrated video chat and structured networking activities each day. Take advantage of intimate roundtables to discuss, debate, and engage on the theme of the day and participate in the “magic” that makes Arival events special – operators learning from other operators.
Details about Arival 360 are HERE, including the five specific days and topics. We hope you will join us!

On a personal note
We are now in the sixth month of what is effectively a global travel lockdown. You are receiving this email because you are registered for Arival Phoenix. Despite the huge impact of the pandemic on our industry and your business, despite the uncertainty that lies ahead, you have held on to your registration. You have held on to your optimism for the Best Part of Travel. We appreciate your patience as we worked to develop alternative plans to Arival Phoenix.
This year has been truly extraordinary for our industry. There are so many of you we have spoken to who started 2020 with big plans for new products, new partnerships, new destinations and lots of growth. This was supposed to be a banner year.
Instead, we are all living in a very different world from the one we had planned for. Many of us are having to make decisions and sacrifices that make the growth of just a year ago seem like a distant memory.
We founded Arival four years ago with two simple goals,
- help operators of tours, activities, attractions, and experiences grow their businesses.
- increase the visibility of the in-destination industry on the world stage and demonstrate the value of tours, activities, and attractions as the essential part of global travel and tourism we know it to be.
As much as we have done to accomplish that in our first three years, in 2020 we have taken on a new mission: helping operators navigate the greatest crisis ever to confront travel and tourism. Since the beginning of the global travel lockdown in March, we launched webinars, research and insights, and now virtual conferences to help our industry stay connected, learn, and weather this ongoing crisis. We have made the vast majority of this content free for operators, or at very low price points.
While your Arival Phoenix ticket is refundable, we hope you will consider keeping your registration with us and taking advantage of complimentary access to Arival 360 and our Virtual Masterclass Summit Series. This will enable us to continue our mission to provide you with the research, content, and community that our industry needs now more than ever.
Thank you for considering these options and for your support. If you have any questions or comments, please let us know.
